You deserve more than “that’s just normal.”

Most women arrive after months, sometimes years, of short appointments, kegel handouts, and being told their symptoms are just part of life. These symptoms are common, but common does not mean something you have to ignore. You've done the handouts and the waiting. You need care that looks for the cause.

Christine treats pelvic health exclusively. Every visit is one hour, one-on-one, in a private room. She looks at the pelvic floor, hips, back, breathing, scars, and bladder and bowel habits to understand what may be contributing to your symptoms.

"It's all thanks to her that I'm even mobile again!"

Christine is the first pelvic physical therapist I've been to who actually understood my problem and explained everything to me as she fixed it. I suffered from chronic pain which just got worse after endometriosis surgery.

"More progress in the last few weeks than I have in over ten years."

I had resigned myself to never being able to wear a tampon or undergo a pelvic exam without intense pain. She was so good at creating a relaxing environment where I was able to feel safe and at ease.

"I can even do jumping jacks!"

I noticed a little leakage when I coughed or sneezed. I am in my early 60's and did not want incontinence as I age. I followed through on all the exercises. I have ZERO leakage when I cough or sneeze.

    Common questions§ 06 / 07

The questions women ask us first.

Have a different question? Send a note, or ask when you call.

    Do I need a referral?
Texas allows direct access to physical therapy, so most patients can start care without a referral. We do typically request one within the first 30 days to keep your care coordinated and compliant, and if you need help getting it, we'll guide you through the process.
Can therapy help prolapse symptoms without surgery?
In many mild to moderate cases, pelvic floor therapy may help reduce prolapse symptoms, and for some patients it can be part of a plan that delays or reduces the need for more invasive options. We work on strengthening and coordinating the pelvic floor and deep core, posture and breathing, and managing pressure with lifting, exercise, and daily activity. Many people notice less heaviness or pressure and feel more supported with standing, walking, and staying active. For more advanced prolapse, therapy can still be valuable alongside pessary fitting or surgical consults.
Is therapy effective for pelvic pain, painful sex, or rectal pain?
Pelvic floor therapy may help with many types of pelvic pain, including pain with sex, rectal or tailbone pain, and deep pelvic aching or burning. We look for overactive or tight pelvic floor muscles, irritated nerves, trigger points, and movement patterns that may be sensitizing your system. Treatment may include gentle internal and external manual therapy, down-training and relaxation strategies, nervous system calming techniques, and a gradual return to comfortable movement and intimacy. Every situation is unique, and many patients report less pain and more confidence in daily life and sexual activity.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on what we find and what you want to get back to. Some people need only a few visits; more complex cases can take longer. After your first visit, Christine will give you an honest sense of what your plan may look like, and we will tell you when we think you no longer need us.
What happens at the first visit?
We talk first about your history, symptoms, and goals. Then a movement and pelvic-health evaluation, which may include an internal exam if relevant and you consent. You'll leave with a clear understanding and a starting plan.
    Where are you located?
Southlake, TX, with easy access from across DFW. The clinic is one private treatment room designed to feel calm and quiet. Free parking, ground floor, accessible.
