Common doesn’t mean you’re stuck with it.

Most people are told that leaks, urgency, and bowel troubles are just part of getting older, or part of having kids. They are common, but common does not mean you have to live with them. You've cut the caffeine and mapped the bathrooms. You need treatment for what's driving it.

Christine treats pelvic health exclusively. Every visit is one hour, one-on-one, in a private room. She looks at the pelvic floor, your bladder and bowel habits, pressure and breathing, and your daily routine to understand what may be driving your symptoms.

    "I can age with confidence."

I noticed a little leakage when I coughed or sneezed. I am in my early 60's and did not want incontinence as I age. I followed through on all the exercises. I have ZERO leakage when I cough or sneeze.

Aren’t these symptoms just a normal part of aging?
Common does not mean you have to live with it. Bladder and bowel symptoms at any age often have a cause that can be addressed, and many patients notice meaningful change with focused therapy.
Can therapy improve leaks or incontinence without surgery or medication?
Pelvic floor therapy can help many people with bladder leaks and urinary incontinence, especially stress incontinence (leaks with coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercise) and urgency or overactive bladder. Through a combination of targeted pelvic floor exercises, breathing and pressure management, bladder training, and lifestyle strategies, many patients notice a meaningful reduction in leaks, and some notice even more. Results vary from person to person, and it is one of the most evidence-supported, non-surgical ways to address incontinence.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on what we find and what you want to get back to. Some people need only a few visits; more complex cases can take longer. After your first visit, Christine will give you an honest sense of what your plan may look like, and we will tell you when we think you no longer need us.
What happens at the first visit?
We talk first about your history, symptoms, and goals. Then a movement and pelvic-health evaluation, which may include an internal exam if relevant and you consent. You'll leave with a clear understanding and a starting plan.
    Where are you located?
Southlake, TX, with easy access from across DFW. The clinic is one private treatment room designed to feel calm and quiet. Free parking, ground floor, accessible.
