Frequently Asked Questions
Quick, clear answers so you know exactly what to expect on your first visit.
Your first visit begins with a private conversation about your symptoms, medical history, and goals. Then we move into a one-on-one evaluation, a clear explanation of findings, and a step-by-step plan. We only proceed with assessments you’re comfortable with—you always have options, and you can pause at any time.
Texas allows direct access to physical therapy, so most patients can start care without a referral. However, we typically request one within the first 30 days to keep your care coordinated and compliant. If you need help getting it, we’ll guide you through the process.
We specialize in a variety of pelvic health issues, including bladder leaks, pelvic pain, painful intimacy, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, and post-surgical recovery. Our whole-body approach ensures that we address the root cause of your symptoms.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, like athletic wear. You don’t need to bring anything special—just come with any questions you’d like to talk through.
Yes — you can absolutely come to your appointment while on your period. It won’t affect your session, and we work with menstruating patients all the time. Your comfort always comes first.
Plans are individualized. Many patients notice progress within a few visits; complex cases may take longer. We’ll outline milestones and reassess together so you always know where you are in the plan.
